COURSE OF ACTION FOUNDATION AND STAY IN STEP LAUNCH
Operation United for the People of Venezuela
Veteran-owned nonprofits unite to deliver life-saving food assistance following the devastating earthquakes in Venezuela.
TAMPA, Fla. — Course of Action Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and Stay in Step have launched Operation United for the People of Venezuela, an emergency humanitarian campaign to provide critical food assistance to families impacted by the recent earthquakes in Venezuela. Building on decades of disaster relief experience, the organizations are mobilizing their international network of partners to deliver life-saving aid where it is needed most.
Campaign Goal
The initiative will raise funds to ship 40-foot containers, each carrying 36 pallets of food. The campaign aims to provide approximately one million meals through Harvest Lentil Vegetable Blend, a premium non-GMO, allergen-friendly food source. Each 1-kilogram bag contains approximately 50 servings and costs $2.37. A full pallet costs $1,194.
Proven Humanitarian Impact
Course of Action Foundation and Stay in Step have a long history of serving communities affected by disasters. During Hurricane Maria, Course of Action operated Central Florida’s largest hurricane relief collection site, coordinating the shipment of more than six million pounds of humanitarian supplies to Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and the Bahamas. The organizations also helped coordinate and fund the delivery of more than 250,000 bottles of water following Hurricane Michael and have partnered with the American Red Cross, The Salvation Army, the Humane Society of the United States, the U.S. military, and law enforcement agencies.
How to Help
Financial contributions are needed immediately to purchase and ship food containers to Venezuela. Donations can be made securely at www.coafoundation.com or by scanning the campaign PayPal QR code.
