Feeding Tampa with Course of Action

The Tampa 501c3 non-profit organization Course of Action, and other organizations such the as the Hillsborough County Public Schools Migrant Education Services, All American Music Productions LLC, and iHeartMedia Tampa Rumba 106.5 FM are coming together again for an honorable cause.

The Course of Action Foundation has helped thousands and did so in 2017 during Hurricane Maria, transporting more than 3.5 million lbs. of critical supplies to Puerto Rico, 250K cases of water to the victims of hurricane Michael in North Florida, shipped food to feed more than 1.5 million in Colombia and Venezuela, distributed supplies to help victims of the earthquake and just a week ago distributed water and hand sanitizers to the Pasco, Hillsborough Sheriff department, Tampa Police and Fire rescue Station 222 in New Tampa. Please help with what you can by donating $ 5.00 or $ 10 dollars. You can make your donations directly on the course of action website www.coafoundation.com by credit card or PayPal.

All donated funds will be used to prepare discounted meals prepared by the Maikels Kitchen restaurant located at Waters Avenue. We will donate these meals to Dover Elementary School Families, which some are Migrant workers under U.S. authorized H-2A programs filling temporary agricultural
jobs and the homeless adult victims of human trafficking seeking shelter at the Salvation Army located at 1514 North Florida Avenue in Tampa, Florida. In 2014, approximately 74,000 nights of shelter were provided and more than 111,000 meals were served to men, women and children in Hillsborough County. In early 2014, The Salvation Army Tampa Area Command opened its first temporary shelter program for adult victims of human trafficking.

We will also provide meals to families whose parents are diagnosed with Cancer, have to go to weekly Dialysis or any other illness that prevents them from being around people because they are at high risk. The Migrant Education Program is a program that serves migratory children ages 3 through 21 and their families.

The course of Action Foundation and iHeart Media Rumba 106.5 will collect funds for three weeks in order to donate food to different Tampa organizations. The next organization to receive meals will be the Salvation Army Homeless program located at 1514 N. Florida Avenue. The Course of Action foundation remains committed to providing life-saving assistance to families in our communities affected by natural, health and economical disasters. Our thoughts and prayers are with those affected by COVID-19.
